Swingers and baseball

Every aspect of these games is both mentally and physically demanding. The mental aspect demands tha t players have a wealth of knowledge and strategy about the game i. However, if your body is not flexible, mobile, stable, and strong, then a high baseball or softball IQ will onl y get you so far. At LYMBR, we hope to assist fellow baseball and softball players in their recovery and performance by mobilizing muscles, joints, and tissue involved in the three movements of the sports: swinging, throwing, and running.

You may have a player or two that are having a difficult time getting around on the ball and seem to be swinging late more often than not. This can become more obvious during the summer when the competition level often increases and young players face better and harder throwing pitchers. Being behind on a pitcher doesn't necessarily mean they have a slow bat, often it simply means they are not ready to swing when they need to be. Have those players try the following tips to see if they can develop a quicker bat. Hopefully one or more of these tips will help a hitter get the swing started sooner and provide them with better timing.

Dismantling the Cubs during a win over Chicago on Thursday, the Reds — who were on the right side of a no-hitter earlier this season but somehow still lost the game — got to face shortstop Andrelton Simmons on the mound in the eighth inning of the blowout. Simmons, who has been clocked throwing 94 mph from his natural position, opted to throw breaking balls against Cincy and pitched as slowly as 39 mph. Rocked to the tune of five runs on five hits and one walk, Simmons had one bright spot during his inning of work when he made history with a pitch to Kyle Farmer that hit just below 45 mph on the radar gun.
